Getting the Electrical Right Before the Plaster Goes On
On a renovation, the electrical decisions that matter are made before anyone can see them. Where the circuits run, how many there are, what the board can hold and whether the supply will carry the finished house. Once the plaster is on, changing any of that costs several times what it would have.
So on Brighton renovation work we like to be in the conversation at plan stage. We will read the drawings, tell you what the lighting layout actually needs in circuits, flag anything that will need three phase or a supply upgrade, and give you a price against the drawings rather than a guess against a walk-through.
During the build we work to the builder’s programme. Rough-in when the frame is ready, fit-off when the painters are done, and testing and certification before handover so nothing holds up occupancy.
Quoted Off the Drawings
We price against the plans, so the number you get at the start is the number at the end.
Sized for Later, Not Just Now
Spare ways on the board and capacity in the mains, so the next appliance is not another rewire.
Coastal Exposure Allowed For
Outdoor fittings and enclosures chosen for salt air, which is not the same spec as a fitting five suburbs inland.
Certified Before Handover
Testing and the compliance certificate done in time for occupancy, not after it.
